GES has been absolutely horrible to deal with, they don't even deserve 1 star. We displayed at a conference they were managing in Minneapolis. We followed all their instructions to have our packages picked up by our carrier, but they somehow lost our display. Then 2 months later, it shows up at our office completely destroyed, with no communication. So we filed a claim with their claims department and after 4 months of pestering them for a response they send us their standard T&C's and offer us their maximum of $1500 for a $20,000 booth they destroyed. For context GES handling charge for them to unload and deliver our booth to our display location was over $3000. I would be very careful when displaying at a conference they are managing or hiring them to manage a conference. They are expensive, uninsured, and completely unprofessional.

Truckers my brothers keep your self away from this facility all bad reviews are true they are not happy with their job treat you like crap you not a human arrangements and not help you .fork lift people work really in hyper damage your load and wrote for you are the person bring the shipment like this when you talk with them they react like they not care

Takes forever to get you in and get unloaded.
Wow this sucks. I checked in 10am waited over 5 hours. Make sure u get paid detention or don't take load to here.

GES was the logistics company for the recent ISPA 2023 conference. I had some problems at the close of show and was asking for assistance - the manager on the floor, Adrian, sloppily tried to help, but could not stay on task and assign workers to help. He pretended to have a grasp of the situation, but could not keep his timeline straight. Adrian became belligerent when his lack of awareness was addressed. He assigned 6 workers to accomplish a 3-person job; when I challenged this he scratched one name off the list, and I still refused to sign the work order. The invoice was eventually submitted for all 6 workers. He gave me the name Jennifer Maness to contact to dispute the charge if I wanted. When I contacted customer service at GES they said they could not give out employee email addresses. That seems absurd. Overcharges were a problem last year and I see they are going to be a problem for this year's event.

Total amateur hour at GES. They used to run a great show way back before COVID. After COVID they really lost their edge. Seems like a lot of the older, more experienced people didn’t came back. I exhibited at two shows they produced in 2021 and it was rough. Then they lost the show to Freeman and in 2022 the same events were a breeze. Way better customer service, my freight arrived early, no struggles with electricians. I even had time go out and have drinks with my employees!

I have been involved in dozens of trade shows over the past years, and have had many dealings with GES. I am always amazed at their efficiency and ability to have everything ready by show time. Their employees are highly skilled and helpful in furnishing what we need to get our exhibits set up. I give them a 5-star rating.
